M. Paul Cloud

I am passionate about helping individuals, families, seniors and business owners achieve peace of mind by developing and implementing creative cost effective plans tailored for each client.  I believe that  effective estate planning is critical to the financial and physical well-being of my clients and I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the process.  As part of the estate planning process, I prepare documents for clients and work to educate them on the importance of titling assets to ensure their estate planning documents work the way they intend.  My goal is to make this process as accessible, efficient and streamlined as possible so that individuals are more motivated to develop and complete their plan, and families do not have to deal with the fallout from a lack of planning.

In order to stay in-tune with the latest trends and developments in Estate Planning, I became a featured member of WealthCounsel, a national community of top estate planning professionals committed to the highest standard of practice excellence.  This collaborative organization, along with attending seminars taught by nationally recognized thought leaders, keeps me on the leading edge of the newest estate planning ideas and approaches.
I received my Undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in 1997 and my JD from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) in 2002.  I have been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2003.

I also have 13 years’ experience in nationally renowned Private Banks Trusts and Estates departments.  During this tenure, I dealt with high net work individuals who were benefiting from the proactive planning of several prior generations.  I intend to use these strategies to benefit everyone, not just the ultra wealthy.
I am happily married with 3 sons.  My wife is an accomplished financial advisor who also works in Katy.  We love sports, outdoors, and volunteering in the community.  We hope our faith based thinking will help further God’s kingdom and spread His word.
